New Forest Bed & Breakfast

Forest Edge Bed and Breakfast offers three Silver Award New Forest Bed and Breakfast rooms in Hale, near Salisbury and Fordingbridge. We have also been awarded the prestigious ‘Breakfast Award’ for 2010 and 2011 and our spacious Sydney Suite on the ground floor is suitable for wheelchair users. Tripadvisor award 2012

Our ‘Forest Edge’ Bed and Breakfast is situated in a delightful courtyard surrounded by a rose garden, lawns and paddocks, creating a little hamlet of its own. It is in an ideal spot for a peaceful and relaxing holiday and a great location for touring the whole of the New Forest region.

The bedrooms for New Forest Bed and Breakfast guests at Forest Edge B&B are furnished and fitted to the very highest standard with great attention to detail.

We offer a delicious New Forest full English breakfast and we always try to use local produce. Our sausages are made from free range pork. The dry cured bacon and the sausages are from nearby Fordingbridge. Our eggs are also locally sourced and are free range.
Lighter breakfasts are available if required. If you have special dietary needs, do let us know, and we will do our best to oblige! Have a look at our new Menu!

For evening meals there are several pubs and restaurants nearby that offer good food, varied menus and value for money. We would be very happy to book a table on your behalf.

All our B&B rooms have remote controlled flat screen TV's, a refreshment tray and hand made soft furnishings.
WIFI is available in all rooms at no extra charge.
There is plenty of parking space in our grounds.
Our New Forest B and B accommodation is for non-smokers only.

The Pink Room

The Pink B&B Room, redecorated in early 2011, has a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a large shower enclosure. It is on the first floor, accessed by an open tread staircase. The room has a lovely light feel and looks very attractive with its new luxurious curtains, and pretty wallpaper. Updated photos to follow soon. Quality bedding, down filled pillows and an excellent bed promises a restful and comfortable night's sleep. The window overlooks the garden, and the rose garden. The New Forest can be seen across the road.

The Sydney Suite

The new Sydney Suite is lovely; light and airy, modern and comfortable and is suitable for wheelchair users. There is a dining table and chairs where you can enjoy a full English breakfast, or something lighter if you prefer, in the privacy of your room. When space permits, we can serve your breakfast in the Breakfast Room in the house if you would like to join us.

The Sydney Suite is on the ground floor with bay windows looking out over the gardens. The French doors lead to a sunny patio area.

Comfortable leather armchairs and footrests are provided for relaxing and maybe enjoying the flat screen TV. The bed can be either a 6ft double or twin beds, the choice is yours.

There is a small, modern kitchen area, which includes a fridge, microwave and sink, plus a toaster, kettle and tea, coffee, sugar etc. The gorgeous cream china ware is designed by Sophie Conran.

The en suite shower room is spacious, superbly appointed and has the benefit of unusual yet restful and relaxing lighting. Luxury toiletries are provided for your convenience.

The Sydney Suite is also perfect for less-abled guests, with a ramped entrance, wide doors and spacious floor area allowing access for wheelchairs. The en-suite shower room has wheelchair access, there are no steps into the shower, and a shower seat has been provided. Grab rails are also provided.
